KR Quarter Horses, LLC, originally located in Spotsylvania County, VA; has now relocated to Culpeper County is owned by Leigh Curtis-Chapman & Linda Curtis.
Once located on the Curtis family farm where Leigh and her sister, Linda Curtis, were raised by their parents Robert H. and Barbara Curtis, Leigh and Linda decided to get out of the middle of the ever growing suburbia of Spotsylvania County.
Leigh Curtis-Chapman is the owner and manager of KRQH. She has years of experience in managing the care and handling of horses. She has been riding and showing for over 40 years in various events such as: Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Barrels, Pole Bending, and Hunter Under Saddle. She has been training and teaching for 20 years. She takes great joy in her student's accomplishments and was a co-leader of Stars and Blazes 4-H club for 9 years.
Jaclyn Curtis-Chapman; Leigh's daughter; also helps to run KRQH. She has been riding and showing for 16 years also in all of the various events listed above. She was in 4-H for 10 years serving as the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer over the years.
